Loreto College's Psychology Society aims to bring psychology to life with a healthy mix of fun, passion, and purpose. The society consists of students who care deeply about breaking down barriers surrounding mental health and disabilities, striving to make these topics as relatable and impactful as possible.
The society's biggest highlight is Kalakriti, an annual event where they collaborate with several reputed schools with differently-abled children to celebrate their unique talents. This event focuses on showcasing what makes these children extraordinary and spreading the message that inclusivity is a way of life. The society is committed to creating a space where everyone feels valued.
During the college fest SAMAGAM, the society elevates its efforts with an intercollegiate competition centered on mental health and inclusion. This event provides an opportunity for participants to come together, compete, and connect on themes that truly matter.
Throughout the year, the Psychology Society remains active, organizing eye-opening workshops, thought-provoking talks, and engaging competitions. Their mission is to smash the stigma, spread awareness, and build a supportive community that makes a real difference, one step at a time. The society welcomes all who are passionate about these causes and encourages new members to join and contribute to their ongoing efforts.
