The All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) is an organization of Catholic university students with a vision for a new and just society. It was founded in 1924 and operates in 15 Indian states. It is affiliated with Pax Romana.
The AICUF's mission is centered on three core objectives: Social Outreach, Personality Development, and Spiritual Growth.
The AICUF Society enriches its members' spiritual and intellectual growth through a variety of initiatives. Regular religious instruction classes and monthly First Friday Masses foster a deeper understanding of Catholic faith. The society also organizes inter- and intra-collegiate carol competitions and Bible quizzes to promote spiritual engagement.
To enhance personal and spiritual development, the AICUF conducts spiritual retreats and personality development camps. Additionally, the society commemorates significant religious events with annual programs such as the Passion of Christ and the Christmas pageant. These initiatives contribute to a vibrant and enriching spiritual community within the AICUF.
The AICUF aims to address social inequality and injustice through social awareness, service, and outreach. Its motto emphasizes its commitment to creating a more just society. Our aim is to live up to the AICUF motto - "We are born into an unjust society and we are determined not to leave it as we have found it."
Progressing in a history of constant rediscovery and recreation, AICUF ever tries to link itself to the emerging needs and realities of the university, the church, and the wider society.
