World AIDS Day Awareness Programme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Loreto College, Kolkata organised a documentary screening and an e-poster making competition on December 2, 2024 in observance of World AIDS Day. The documentary screening was attended by over 80 students of Loreto College, while 8 NSS volunteers took part in the competition. Both the events inculcated a sense of awareness amongst the volunteers and helped them to understand, identify, and prevent the spread of the disease as well as the stigma associated with the same.

The winners of the e-poster making competition were:

First position: Aanindini Ghosh (Semester I, Department of English)
Runner-up: Shinjini Ghosh (Semester I, Department of History)
