Campus Canopy Quest

The W.E. Nature Society of Loreto College, Kolkata conducted an event titled Campus Canopy Quest on September 23, 2024. The event aimed to familiarise the students of Rainbow Home with the green spaces and biodiversity in the Loreto College campus.

20 students of Rainbow Home were guided around the college lawn by 7 volunteers from the W.E. Nature Society. The volunteers scanned the QR codes on the trees and explained the information about the trees to the students. The event also included an engaging activity which tested the knowledge gained on the uses of trees from the preceding walk.

This event served to give the students of Rainbow Home a practical learning experience in the form of interactive activities outside the classroom. It helped to connect the young generation to nature and its significance in our day to day lives.
