The Loreto College Incubation Centre organised an engaging session on "Is Entrepreneurship a Choice for Career Development?" featuring two eminent speakers from IIM Calcutta Innovation Park—Mr. Avijit Das, Program Head, and Mr. Sankha Ray, Program Manager. The event, held on November 27, 2024, aimed to explore entrepreneurship as a career option while inspiring students with real-world insights. The speakers highlighted the importance of innovation, leadership, and adaptability in entrepreneurship. They emphasised how technology can address regional and societal needs while creating sustainable business opportunities. The speakers' insights into social entrepreneurship offered a fresh perspective on how businesses can create both profit and impact. The session saw enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged with the speakers, asking insightful questions on challenges in entrepreneurship, scaling start-ups, and leveraging technology for innovation.
