Leadership Training Camp 2024

The Leadership Training Service (LTS) Society of Loreto College, Kolkata, under the guidance of Father John Rogers, participated in the Leadership Training Camp organised at the LTS Centre on January 7, 2024. The primary objective of the camp was to provide students with a brief overview and techniques on how to be effective leaders. Students from Loreto College and Shri Shikshayatan College enthusiastically participated in the camp, where various roles and principles of leadership were discussed in depth.

The event commenced with an opening address by Father John Rogers, who provided a detailed explanation of the qualities and traits that define a good leader. He emphasised the importance of integrity, empathy, resilience, and effective communication. The camp also featured a public speaking session, where each student had the opportunity to introduce themselves and share their thoughts on the role of leadership in the present generation and its significance for the future. This interactive segment allowed students to practise their public speaking skills, build confidence, and exchange diverse perspectives on leadership challenges and opportunities.

In addition to the interactive sessions, students were provided with Leadership Training books. These comprehensive resources included detailed theories, practical exercises, and guidelines on various aspects of effective leadership. Overall, it was an enriching one-day training session for the members of the Leadership Service Society. Certificates issued by the LTS office were given to all the participants through Father John Rogers.
