Global Reach Session on Pursuing Higher Education in Australia

On January 11, 2024, Loreto College, Kolkata presented a session on pursuing higher education in Australia by Global Reach. The session was led by Ms. Cecilia Shiu, a Senior Executive in Counselling & Business Development, who is also an alumna of Loreto College. Ms. Shiu highlighted the significance of interdisciplinary studies and the potential for growth in diverse educational streams. She emphasised Australia’s appeal for higher studies, citing reasons such as the country’s immigration policies, rights granted to immigrants, high employment rates, attractive exchange rates, and the upcoming 2032 Olympics, which is attracting global investments and making it a ripe time for relocation. The session concluded with an invitation extended to interested students to attend an education fair organised by Global Reach at the Oberoi Grand Hotel, Kolkata, on January 15, where students can directly interact with representatives from leading Australian universities. The session left the students truly inspired and eager to engage with the representatives from such prestigious and internationally reputed universities.
