Talk on Entrepreneurship-"Be an Agent of Change"

On September 8, 2023, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college had organized a special session on Entrepreneurship titled "Be an Agent of Change", a much needed one that could initiate the students to the idea of starts-up and how to sustain it. The talks were addressed to the Semester 1 students of the college. The speakers in the programme were Mrs. Mandira Karmakar, Founder of Amuktika and Mrs. Shirina Mukherjee, Founder of Vanilla Bean Bakery.
While Ms. Mukherjee spoke about her uphill journey as an entrepreneur, it rightfully evolved into a narrative of motivation that speaks of a passion that overcomes all hurdles to touch the big dream! She spoke of how to “Never Settle” and keep pushing oneself to reach the higher milestones.
Ms. Karmakar spoke with a striking power point presentation that touched base with a number of technical elements to consider, before and during the planning and launch of any entrepreneurship.
The students were quite impressed with the positive and vibrant interactions that both the speakers carried out. Such programmes that strike the right chord among the youth and gives them some clarity on dreaming big and how to embark on the journey is always motivational.
