Book Launch by Mrs. Marie Gaspar

Loreto College has a long association with Educationist Mrs Marie Gaspar and was proud to be the venue for the launch of her book The Parent Teacher Team on December 10, 2021.

The guests of honour on this occasion were. Mr. Y. S. Methushela Regional Manager Jay Cee publication, Hyderabad, Mr. Sumanta Roy Asst Commissioner (Labour), Vicar General Dominic Gomes, Kolkata Archdiocese and Sr. Molly Francis IBVM Loreto sister. The Master of Ceremony was Ms. Grace William. The audience comprised of Loreto Sisters, staff, friends and family.

The programme began with a welcome note by Mr. Percy Gaspar the spouse of Mrs. Marie Gaspar. Mrs. Dominica Abraham recited the opening prayer. The guests of honour were felicitated and each of them spoke about Marie, as the person they knew over the years. The book was launched by Mr. Methushela, Vicar General Gomes, Sr. Molly, Mr. Sumanta Roy and the author.

The House was opened to a question-answer session between the author and the audience. It was a very enriching and enjoyable experience. The energy in the hall was light, friendly, and relaxed.

Andrea Gaspar, the daughter of Marie and Percy proposed the vote of thanks. The evening concluded with a closing prayer. This was followed by tea and snacks.
