Virtual Book Release

The Virtual Book Release was organized by the Department of Psychology, Loreto College on September 7, 2021, at 3:00 pm. The book, Psychopathology and Psychotherapy: A Review of Causes, Consequences and Curative Measures was edited by the teachers of the Department of Psychology and Sr. (Dr.) Claire MacFarland.

The ICSSR Sponsored National Level Seminar Psychotherapies: Contemporary Approaches in 21st Century India in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, West Bengal State University, Barasat, was held on November 24 and 25, 2016. The book is an outcome of the much-appreciated seminar. The three sections of the publication are - Research Contributions by the Resource Persons, Research Papers of the Paper Presenters and the Review Articles contributed by the students of the Department of Psychology, under the able guidance of the department faculty.

Prof. (Dr.) Pushpa Misra was the guest of honour for the event. She highlighted salient features of the research papers and the overall publication in general. Her insights and analytical views about the book enriched the programme. The book release was possible due to the continuous support and guidance of our Principal.
