Results of ’Cultivating Diversity and Inclusion’ organized by Department of Education

Inclusion is much beyond differences and diversity! As stalwarts to this cause educational institutions have the ethical and educational responsibility to help students embrace this difference and diversity and to integrate it into all aspects of student life thus invariably promoting the goal of cultural unity in diversity. To enable Education Honours Semester IV students address numerous diversity issues ranging from racial, tribal and gender discrimination to issues centering on people with disabilities etc., the Department of Education, Loreto College, Kolkata organized Video/Post Card/Slogan Competition on the theme: Cultivating Diversity and Inclusion the from May 22, 2020 to May 30, 2020. The competition was organized and judged in Three Categories: Category I: Video/ PPT Presentation Making on Different Folk Music of West Bengal, Category II: Post Cards/Cards and Category III: Slogan Writing. The competition received enthusiastic response from the students. The online competition was judged by Dr. Sayantani Chatterjee, Head, Department of Psychology, Loreto College and Mrs. Archita Roy Biswas, Department of Education, Loreto College.
