Online Art Contest: ’Historic Pandemics that Struck the World’

Between 28th March and 2nd April, 2020, the History Society conducted an online art contest on the theme ’Historic Pandemics that Struck the World’. The contest was open to the entire college and submissions in both digital and traditional formats were accepted. The event generated interest across departments and final submissions amounted to 15. The pieces were separated into art in digital and traditional media, and were forwarded to the judges anonymously, and were then judged accordingly by the faculty of the History Department. Overall, the event was a great success and the society is immensely pleased by the enthusiasm shown across the board. Some of the art works are sampled here.
