Exploring Pathways and Opportunities in Higher Education at Loreto College

Loreto College, Kolkata, organised an online interactive session titled "Exploring Pathways and Opportunities in Higher Education at Loreto College" on April 29, 2025, at 5.30 a.m. for higher secondary students from various schools in West Bengal and other states across India. The session was designed to explore pathways and opportunities in higher education at Loreto College with a specific focus on the newly introduced 4-Year Undergraduate Programme under the Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCF) as per the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. It aimed to inform and inspire senior secondary students about the diverse academic and co-curricular opportunities available at Loreto College under the new academic framework.

The objective of the session was to create awareness about the new academic structure, explain the changes introduced by the CCF, and guide students in making informed decisions about their higher education journey at Loreto College. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and teachers representing over 13 schools from various states. Both urban and semi-urban educational institutions took part in the session, reflecting the inclusive outreach of the initiative. Loreto College looks forward to continuing such engagements to empower young learners in the country.
