Signing of MoU between Loreto College and Teach For India
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Loreto College, Kolkata and Teach For India, a reputed organisation dedicated to social work and community engagement, on February 11, 2025. This partnership marks a significant step towards fostering mutual collaboration aimed at driving impactful community service initiatives, enhancing student engagement, and promoting social responsibility.
The primary objective of this MoU is to establish a formal partnership between Loreto College and Teach For India to collaborate on projects that contribute to community development, social awareness, and student volunteerism. This agreement is intended to:
Provide students with opportunities for experiential learning through community service
Develop and implement joint programmes focused on social welfare and community upliftment
Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions to promote civic responsibility and leadership
Support research and initiatives related to social issues and community development
