Future Fit Session
The Life Skills Committee of Loreto College, Kolkata, in collaboration with Scottish Church College, conducted a Future Fit programme on February 21, 2025. This skills training programme was designed to develop employability skills among Semester VI students. The primary aim of the session was to enlighten students and shape their future by engaging them in various activities.
The first half of the session was conducted by Dr. Suparna Bhattacharya and Ms. Nayanika Saha. Through a series of activities and games, students were trained in effective communication, self-awareness, teamwork, collaboration, mindfulness, problem solving, planning, strategy, and organisational skills. The session provided students with a clear understanding of how to handle challenges effectively, boosting their confidence and morale.
The second half of the session was conducted by Mr. Pinaki Mondal, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Scottish Church College, who provided a detailed outline of soft skills. The session emphasised the importance of soft skills for future career opportunities and was followed by interactions and activities. The event concluded with a brief presentation and expressions from the students, offering insights into the daily challenges they face, the causes and effects related to these challenges, and effective solutions to address them.
