Special Lecture on MBA as a Career Path after Graduation

IMS Learning Services, a reputed mentoring institute for competitive examinations, addressed the Semester VI students of Loreto College, Kolkata about preparatory coaching for CAT on March 20, 2025. The event was held under the aegis of the Career Couselling Cell of the college. Mr. Samrat Roy, Chief Mentor at IMS Kolkata, spoke to the students about the prospects of an MBA in the country and how an admission into any of the IIMs or a premier MBA institute can guarantee a lucrative job and excellent career prospects. Mr. Roy also emphasised the special skills of Humanities students that make them suitable for top managerial positions and provided advice regarding the building of one's profile. IMS provides support to MBA aspirants by focusing and orientating the students towards a systematic study plan, regular mock tests, and assessments. They also guide the students and assist them through the Group Discussion and Personal interview sessions. Mr. Roy's lecture was followed by many queries by the students, who were enthusiastic about pursuing further studies in Management training.
