BYOB (Be Your Own Boss): Empowerment Workshop by P&G

P&G (Whisper & Gillette India), in collaboration with Right Side Story LLP, organised a transformative and thought-provoking workshop titled “Be Your Own Boss” (BYOB) at Loreto College, Kolkata on January 20 and 22, 2025, for Semester I and Semester III students, respectively. The workshops were facilitated by Ms. Disha Ganguly, with assistance from Ms. Baondana Mondal and Ms. Titas Ghosh Chaudhury of Right Side Story LLP. Ms. Ganguly’s engaging and inspirational approach to conducting the sessions left the students motivated and deeply impacted.

At Loreto College, personality development is regarded as a holistic process that nurtures academic, emotional, social, and mental growth. This initiative by P&G, in partnership with Right Side Story LLP, aimed to create a supportive environment where students could develop self-confidence, effective communication, and leadership skills, empowering them to grow into assertive and poised individuals.

In recognition of their participation, all attendees were awarded certificates and gifts, while the volunteers received Letters of Recommendation (LORs) for their valuable contributions to the event. This initiative reflects Loreto College’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of mutual respect, empathy, and empowerment, ensuring that young women are well-equipped to navigate life with confidence and determination.
