Creative Writing Competition by Dept. of Education

The Department of Education, Loreto College, Kolkata organized a Creative Writing Competition for Education Honours Semester II and Semester IV students from April 28, 2020 to May 02, 2020. The central theme for the event was Pandemic and the Changing Role of Education. Papers were submitted by students focusing of a myriad of sub themes Accessibility to Alternative modes of Education, Have Virtual Classrooms superseded Real Classrooms?, Is Virtual Medium of Education transcending the Gap, Using Online Educational Delivery Mechanisms for Teachers: A Challenge or Mode for Personal and Professional Development and Home-based learning: A Challenge for Students with Diverse Needs. The competition received enthusiastic response from the students. The online completion was judged by Dr. Ranjana Banerjee, Associate Professor, Department of Education, Loreto College and Dr. Ranjita Dawn, Head, Department of Education, Loreto College.
