Bottle and Brush

On April 12, 2024, the Art and Craft Society organised Bottle and Brush, a bottle-painting competition for the undergraduate students of Loreto College, Kolkata. It was an open-themed event where the participants used small or medium-sized plastic bottles. They were allowed to apply the base colour at home and use appliqués on the bottle. The completed bottles were then judged by Ms. Nayanika Saha (Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Loreto College) on the basis of originality, cleanliness, neatness, and overall design. The pieces were later used to keep plant cuttings and were placed in the college common room and other areas. All the winners were awarded certificates.
