For BT was recognized by the National Center for Teacher Education.
1996:
The starting of the Womens Cell for illiterate and socially and financially challenged young women
1999-2000:
The College volunteered for assessment by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and was graded with 5 stars. For three years the college was the only Higher Education Institution in West Bengal to have been assessed by NAAC.
