Hrishita Ghosh of third year History Honours presented a paper titled "Mckluskiegunj: Dawn and Decline", as part of the Research Cell presentation on December 4, 2018 between 3 and 4pm in the College auditorium. She traced the history of the development of Mckluskiegunj as an Anglo-Indian settlement and identified the reasons behind its decline after India’s independence. Her research was mainly ethnographic in nature and her presentation received a positive response from all those who were present.
