Personal Branding

On February 22, 2023 Mr. Avik Roy and Ms. Trisha Poddar of Pearl Academy gave a presentation to the third year students on various career paths available after graduation and how to make use of personal branding to stand out from the competition. To illustrate his point, Mr. Roy used his own experiences and anecdotes. This made for a lively and interactive session. Volunteers from the audience assisted him in demonstrating the importance of personal branding by providing a real-world example. Moreover, he outlined how social media can be employed to establish one's personal identity as well as monetize one's passion. Utilising more anecdotes, he encouraged students to think innovatively and leverage available opportunities in order to create a professional brand for themselves. Pearl Academy's courses in design and fashion were discussed during this seminar as well.
