Special Lecture on English Phonetics

On December 21, 2022 the Department of B.Ed organised a Special Lecture on English Phonetics chaired by Dr Sanghita Sanyal, faculty, Department of B.Ed.. It was an engaging session where the students of B.Ed Semesters I and III learnt about the nuances of speech. The event commenced with a brief introduction to phonetics and phonemes. Dr Sanyal also explained with relevant images various speech organs that are responsible for our utterances. The event was interactive and Dr Sanyal meticulously attended all questions asked by citing relevant examples from daily life.
