Historia 2022

The sixth edition of Historia was organised by the Department of History in collaboration with History Society on March 26, 2022. The theme for this year was “Enhancing the Source Base of History.” The Guest of Honour and judge was Dr. Utsa Ray, Assistant Professor, Jadavpur University. Twelve papers dwelling on unconventional sources of History—ranging from oral history and memories to podcasts and crimes—were presented. Utsa Pal and Sagarika Ganguly were the joint winners, with Roshmi Dey, Banan Irfan, and Madhuparna Choudhury being declared the runners-up.
