Virtual Musical Talent Show - Commemorating Students' Week
In 2010 the United Nations declared October 15 as World Students’ Day to mark our former President, late Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary. Our honourable Chief Minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee had announced celebration of Students’ Week from January 1, 2022 to commemorate Students’ day this year.
On the occasion of Students’ Week the Student Council of Loreto College held a Virtual Musical Talent Show which witnessed an impressive showcase of talent in different categories of Western and Eastern song and dance.
The response to the talent show was overwhelming (39 entries), in spite of the event being held close to the End Semester Examinations. The College is considering to make this an annual event, as it provided a platform to every student to showcase her talent and interests.
