Virtual Investiture Ceremony

The Virtual Investiture Ceremony for the Student Council, 2020-2021 was held on July 11, 2021. The College was honoured to have Dr Fuad Halim as the Chief Guest, one of those rare individuals, who combines professional expertise and experience to the service of society.

The Student Council of Loreto College comprises the Student President, Vice-President, other elected heads of the Societies and Representatives of the Classes. This representative student body not only coordinates all the extra-curricular activities of the College, but also embodies and upholds the values and ideals of the institution. The taking of Oath of Office of the Student Council is therefore a symbolic event and an integral part of life in the College. The unanticipated events of the year 2020 forced upon us singular circumstances which were beyond our control. However, it is a moment of pride and honour that the College was finally able to overcome all impediments and organise the Investiture ceremony on a virtual platform. The programme was attended by parents, faculty and staff of the College.
