Report on the 21st Annual Reunion

The 21st Annual Reunion of Loreto College, organized by the Loreto College Alumnae Association, was held in the virtual mode on 20th February 2021 at 6:00 P.M. Google Meet platform was used. The event attracted registrations to full capacity of the digital platform and was eventually attended by over 120 people including, past pupils, retired teachers of the College, present teachers, Sisters of the Loreto Community and former Principals of the College. The programme included melodious songs and piano recitals by past pupils, some of whom joined from outside the country. Ms. Piali Ray, OBE, of the Batch of 1975, was the special guest who addressed the gathering from Birmingham. A lively Quiz on Calcutta’s Heritage and Loreto College was conducted by Ms. Oindrilla Dutt of the Batch of 1978. The attendees were also given a virtual tour of the College. The President’s address focused on the growth of the college over the years, while the Vice President highlighted the Association’s events of the past year. Alumnae from all over the world, from USA, UK, Middle East and Australia participated in the virtual Reunion.
