Shaastraarth

ICICI Bank, on the 7th of October, 2020, brought together thought leaders of India Inc. and students from across the country on a YouTube Live session called, Shaastraarth. Shaastraarth is the ancient Indian practice of deliberation and discussion on scriptures to draw insights on contemporary challenges. Inriveting panel discussions, the leaders put forth their perspective on themes that are pertinent to the Workforce of tomorrow.

The opening panel of Shaastraarth had Vishakha Mulye and Anup Bagchi, both of who are Executive Directors on the Board of ICICI Bank, as well as, Sandeep Batra, President/Executive Director, ICICI Bank Ltd. They enlightened us on the advancement in and adoption of technology, new practices and norms, challenges and opportunities in their discussion titled ‘Unlocking opportunities in the new normal’.The other themes discussed on the 7th were:

- Evolution of consumer behaviour in current context
- Cultural shift in the age of hybrid workforce
- Leading without authority

For the students Shaastraarth was a very intellectually enriching and stimulating conversation!
