IGNITION 2023

The Department of Economics in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) hosted the annual inter-year quiz competition known as IGNITION on March 28, 2023. Three teams, A, B, and C, competed; each team was made up of two students from the third, second, and first years, respectively. The quiz consisted of two rounds, the first of which measured the students' general economic knowledge and analytical abilities under the direction of Mr. Nilavo Roy, Assitant Professor, Department of Economics. In the second round, Mr. Mainak Bhattacherjee, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, led a fact-checking discussion with an emphasis on the Sustainable Development Goals. Teams B and C came in second and third, respectively, after Team A took top place in the competition.
