IGNITION

The Department of Economics, in collaboration with IQAC organised a virtual Inter-Year Departmental Quiz Competition, IGNITION on February 19, 2022. The quiz was conducted by the faculty of the Economics department, Mr N. Roy and Mr M. Bhattacharjee.
There were three teams with two students each from the department and involved two rounds of questions. The first round focussed on research, papers and journals of various economists and current affairs. The second round lay emphasis on the financial sector, Indian economics and current affairs.
The students of third year, Bhavya Agarwal and Harsha Kalbalia were declared winners. This event gave students a break from traditional classroom learning. It encouraged critical thinking, research and team work.
