ConQuest 2023

On October 6, 2023, Loreto College, Kolkata hosted the Eastern Regional Finals of ConQuest, India’s premier national quiz on the Indian Constitution, History, and Politics organized by the Centre for Law and Policy Research, Bangalore. For the 7th edition this year, the theme was Artificial Intelligence. The event involved the participation of over 30 teams representing various colleges from the eastern region of India.

The competition consisted of a preliminary round followed by a final round with six teams making it to the finals: National Law University Odisha, the Indian Institute of Management Kolkata, Loreto College, Jadavpur University, The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, and St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. After a number of rigorous quizzing rounds, National Law University Odisha and IIM Kolkata emerged as the finalists who will compete in the national finals scheduled to be held in Bangalore.

Behind the scenes, the volunteers dedicated days of hard work in collaboration with CLPR representatives to ensure the success of the event. The process of organizing the event also gave them the opportunity to develop valuable skills such as team management and communication.
