Dengue-Malaria Awareness Talk

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Society of Loreto College, Kolkata organised a talk on September 27, 2023 to spread awareness of dengue and malaria and to encourage students to adopt suitable precautionary measures. The talk was led by Dr. Ramsha Sahir Ansari who has completed her MBBS degree and is currently pursuing further studies at Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital to become a Paediatric Specialist. Around 80 NSS volunteers from the first-year and second-year undergraduate batches attended this awareness talk. Dr. Ansari lucidly explained the symptoms of malaria and dengue, treatment methods, preventive measures, and other relevant information. Her talk was followed by an interactive session during which Dr. Ansari addressed the queries of the students and provided valuable suggestions for the improvement of personal and public health.
