Teachers' Day Programme: PG Department of English

On September 14, 2023, the second-year students of the PG Department of English, Loreto College came together to celebrate Teachers’ Day. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the professors who have been instrumental in shaping the academic journey of the students.

The celebration began with a solemn prayer service conducted by Principal Sr. Dr. Christine Coutinho, setting a spiritually uplifting tone for the event. It was followed by a short programme that the students had prepared for their teachers. The students first showcased their talents in an energetic and nostalgic retro dance performance that captivated the audience. A melodious musical performance then took centre stage, with the students singing harmoniously to convey their gratitude and appreciation to their professors. A second dance performance, equally captivating and well-choreographed, followed the musical choir. The final highlight of the celebration was a cake-cutting ceremony that reinforced the close ties between the teachers and the students.
