Workshop on Curriculum and Credit Framework

The University of Calcutta announced the introduction and implementation of the Four-Year B.A. and B.Sc. (Honours & Honours with Research) course of studies under the Curriculum and Credit Framework 2022 from the academic year commencing July 2023. The College organised a workshop on July 1, 2023 to acquaint the staff with the newly designed system. The presentation by the Principal Sr Dr Christine Coutinho and Mrs. Sharmila Mitra Deb, Academic and Administrative Officer, focused on the semester wise break-up of the Curriculum and Credit Framework and the different categories of subjects that students will be expected to study. The new system follows the requirements laid down by the National Education Policy of 2020 which is a student centric system, is focused on introducing flexibility in terms of entry and exit points and offering a wide array of subjects to choose from.
