Know Your ICC

Every year, as a part of the regular awareness programme to be conducted by the Internal Complaints Commiittee, a short event was organized on November 7, 2022 titled “KNOW YOUR ICC” which was meant exclusively for the Semester I students of the college.

In this programme, students are generally given a brief awareness presentation about what is the role and function of ICC, what comes under the purview of ICC, how to connect with the ICC. “Know Your ICC”, like every year, continues to remain a very crucial event that goes a long way to make the students feel safe in and around the college premises.

This year, the “Know Your ICC” programme was conducted by Advocate Mrs. Sonali Ghosh Panda, a member of ICC, Loreto College, who took the students through a lecture demonstration on what is meant by Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, what are the ways of mitigating it and what would be the channel of communication with ICC if such a situation arises. The presentation subsequently led into a very enthusiastic interaction between the students.
