LCIC Entrepreneurs' Day

The Loreto College Incubation Centre celebrated young entrepreneurs by organizing a sale and exhibition of unique business ideas on September 23, 2022. Student businesses on display ranged from customized pouches made of reused denim by Khizra Batool; handmade clay accessories by Shruti Lohani; innovative desserts by Arija Dutta, nail art by Reeti Ghosh and accessories by Oyitrika Dutta. The sale cum exhibition gave the students an opportunity to showcase and market their products while gauging demand and customer responses. The proposals put forward by students after the exhibition will be considered before providing them with seed money to launch their innovative businesses. Alongside the students, the LCIC conducted its second Bag Sale as part of its pilot project. The event was open to Students and staff of the College who enjoyed the morning browsing through the ideas and products on display while encouraging and interacting with the young entrepreneurs.
