Constitution Day Debate 2021

To commemorate Constitution Day 2021, the College organized an intra college debate on December 13, 2021. The debate was conducted over Google Meet. The motion before the house was The Constitution of India is the most comprehensive document to be adhered by for the functioning of the country. Two teams comprising three students each, argued eloquently giving the audience much to ponder upon. The winning team was side Opposition, Meghna Bhattacharya (1st year Political Science Honours), Tanushka Dutta (3rd year English Honours), Ashwriya Malik (3rd year English Honours). Ritansha Banerjee (3rd year Political Science Honours) and Meghna Bhattacharya were jointly declared Best Speaker and Aishwriya Malik was judged as the runner up. The judges were Dr Zaad Mehmood. Assistant Professor, Department Political Science, Presidency University, Mr Shekhar Niyogi, Editor and Consultant - Tourism, Education and Media and Mr Subrata Sarkar, former senior executive, SBI currently senior faculty of Bandhan School of Development Management.
