A Session on Young India Fellowship by Ashoka University

A session on Young India Fellowship was conducted by the Outreach office of Ashoka University, Delhi for the final year UG students of Loreto College on October 8, 2021. The session was conducted by Ms Anuja Sinha and Ms Shahambare. This one-year long residential flagship diploma programme, which was started in 2011, focuses on exposure to multidisciplinary thoughts through inspiring faculty, diverse peers, mentorship and experimental learning.

In a well-structured webinar, with the help of a detailed presentation, the students were given an overview of the whole programme emphasising the different multidisciplinary courses offered, the opportunities and placement options, the success stories, the eligibility criteria along with the financial aid programme and the procedure of application. The presentation was followed by an interactive session between the students and YIF representatives. The webinar was very informative and it gave the students an insight into the wide range of opportunities available post-graduation.
