Placement Cell

The Placement Cell has organised and conducted programmes, talks and workshops to make the students aware of the new trends and requirements in the job market. Many of these programmes also aim to keep the students updated about their prospects in higher studies. The Placement Cell has also coordinated campus placements for the students.

The student development programmes conducted by the Placement Cell include workshop in association with ICFAI on soft skills and employability, facilitating talks by representatives from Teach for India for helping students to be part of their programme, organizing sessions by institutes like Erudite, Endeavour and Catalyst Learning Services. Ashoka University organised a special session for the students to enlighten them about the prospects of Young India Fellowship.

In the academic session 2015-2016, students were recruited in reputed organizations like Cognizant, Indigo, ITC and Teach for India through on campus placement drives. In the academic session 2016-2017, students were placed in Indigo, Jet Airways, Citi Bank, Syndicate Bank, Teach for India and Biswajit Sarkar IP Attorneys. In the academic session 2017-2018, through on campus placements students were recruited by Cognizant, Wipro, Biswajit Sarkar IP Attorneys, ICICI Bank, Schoogle, Teach for India, ITC and HSBC. In 2018-2019 students were recruited on campus through the ICICI Ascend Programme, Viacom and MK Solutions, Teach for India and Emami. In 2019-2020, a number of students were placed through ICICI ascent campus placement programme. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the on campus recruitment process was hampered. Students were updated about career related webinars throughout the year by organisations like Catalyst Learning Services for their further studies and job prospects.
