Joy of Giving Week

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Society in collaboration with the Social Service Society of Loreto College, Kolkata organized “Joy of Giving Week” from October 2 to 13, 2023. All students of Loreto College generously donated items such as clothes, shoes, utensils, and toys, which were then handed over to Goonj Foundation. A group of 10 volunteers from both the societies helped in packing all the donated items. On October 13, 2023, another set of 6 volunteers took the donations to the dropping centre of Goonj Foundation in Jadavpur. Every year the students of Loreto College contribute towards the welfare of the community by such acts of donation. Joy of Giving Week proved to be an enriching experience for all the volunteers.
