The Games Society of Loreto College, Kolkata recently organized an online event called Just a Minute, for UG, PG and B.ED. department of the College. Participants were required to record themselves performing any 2 of the following activities at most:
•Skipping
•Planks
•Push-ups
•Sit- ups
•Backward skipping
•Skipping on one leg
Barring skipping and planks the time limit for all other tasks was 1 minute, for skipping and planks, the participants were to carry on at a stretch for as long as possible. Students were given 12 days ( May 11 - 23, 2021) to submit their entries in accordance with the guidelines framed by the Games Society. E-certificates were awarded to the winning entries from each category. The names of the winners are as follows:
Plank:
1st Rebecca Murmu- Political Science Honours, 1st year
2nd Kritty Gahatraj- English Honours, 3rd year
3rd Aditi Roy- Geography Honours, 1st year
Push-ups:
1st Sheshadri Srivastav- English Honours, 1st year
Sit-ups:
1st Ayushi Ghosh- History Honours, 1st year
2nd Kritty Gahatraj- English Honours, 3rd year
Skipping:
1st Ayushi Ghosh- History Honours, 1st year
2nd Sucharita Chowdhury- B. Ed, 2nd year; Aditi Roy- Geography Honours, 1st year (Joint 2nd)
