How to Face, Ace, and Race Ahead in Impromptu Speaking: A Workshop by Mr. Ayan Pal



On September 6, 2024, a workshop on How to Face, Ace and Race Ahead in Impromptu Speaking was organised for the students of Loreto College, Kolkata. Mr. Ayan Pal, an esteemed speaker, author, and educator, conducted a comprehensive and interactive session to equip the participants with the skills and confidence necessary to excel in extemporaneous situations.

The workshop covered several essential topics, such as understanding the basics of impromptu speaking, developing effective communication skills, and amplifying motivation. The students learned about the importance of impromptu speaking in personal and professional settings and its role in fostering effective communication. Mr. Pal also drew from his extensive experience to share tips and techniques to help the students build confidence and develop their communication skills. His suggestions included strategies on how to structure thoughts, use language, and engage the audience. The students also learned how to overcome anxiety and nervousness and deliver off-the-cuff with creativity and spontaneity.
