QR Code Project

In June 2024, the project of attaching laminated QR codes to the trees in the Loreto College campus was initiated by the W.E. Nature Society. The QR codes are linked to information about the tree, such as its height, carbon sequestration, cultural significance, and medicinal value. Several volunteers from the society collaborated with the office bearers and staff advisors in preparing the documents containing all the relevant information. The first four QR codes were installed on June 6, 2024 by the heads and staff advisors of the society with the help of the college carpenter. The society aims to enhance the knowledge of the students and staff of the college about their surroundings in an interactive and fun way through this initiative.
