Jam and Jive

On May 24, 2024, the Student Council of Loreto College, Kolkata for the academic year 2023–24 organised Jam and Jive. This event was designed to foster a sense of community and inclusivity, bringing together students from all three years to celebrate their last college event as a cohesive student body.

Jam and Jive consisted of three main segments. The first segment was an open mic session, where students showcased their talents in singing, dancing, and poetry, either individually or in groups. This was followed by a dare round, which added an element of spontaneity and fun, with participants drawing chits to determine their dares. The final segment was an open dance that encouraged all attendees to participate and enjoy the music together.

The event concluded successfully, with students departing from the venue in high spirits. As a token of appreciation, every participant received a gift hamper containing locally sourced tote bags and stationery. Jam and Jive left the students with cherished memories and a profound sense of gratitude as the 2024 batch concluded their academic journey at Loreto College.
