On 26th and 27th July 2019, a workshop on Learning through Photography (LTP) was conducted for students of the department of B.Ed. by Dr. Katie Hyde and her team of Duke University. The workshop emphasized on how photography helps in subjective as well as objective learning. The students were also engaged in a photo tour of the college campus and neighbourhood, learning how students could learn different subjects through photography. The workshop stimulated interest and creativity among the teacher trainees who became equipped to apply photography as an alternative learning approach quite different from regular lessons.
