B.Ed. Orientation Programme 2024

On October 4, 2024, the Department of B.Ed., Loreto College, Kolkata organised an orientation programme to welcome the batch of 2024–26. The event began with a meaningful prayer service conducted by the second-year students, setting a tone of reflection and unity for the new journey ahead.

Following this, Sr. Dr. A. Nirmala, Acting Teacher-in-Charge, extended a warm welcome, reflecting on the department’s esteemed tradition of nurturing capable and compassionate educators. She also introduced the faculty, giving the new students a sense of the experienced team that would guide them throughout this new journey.

A panel discussion facilitated by the second-year students addressed queries and concerns raised by the freshers. The Head of the Department, Dr. Kaustuva Banerjee, provided an overview of the department’s rules and regulations and extended her best wishes, encouraging the new batch to embark on this journey with confidence.

The programme successfully marked the beginning of a new chapter for the 2024–26 batch, offering them guidance and support as they start their training.
