Workshop on Research Methodology in Psychology for Semester V Students

On September 26, 2024, the Research Cell of Loreto College, Kolkata, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, organised a session on Research Methodology for Semester V students of Psychology. The session was conducted by Dr. Sreemoyee Tarafder, Assistant Professor at West Bengal State University, Barasat.

Dr. Tarafder explained the research process in detail, covering essential steps from identifying a research problem to selecting appropriate psychological assessment tools. She added a personal touch to the talk with excerpts from her own research experience and offered valuable advice to future researchers in the class. The workshop concluded with an interactive session, where participants engaged in a productive discussion and sought further clarification on various aspects of research methodology.
